The club has reserved 20 spaces for this rally.
There are bus stops right outside the site with a regular service running to Gloucester and Cheltenham.
Tuesday 24th March - Arrival
Wednesday 25th March - Catch the bus (or take the car if you have it with you) to Gloucester where we have a guided tour and tastings at Gloucester Brewery and Distillery. This is situated within Gloucester Docks and is just over a small bridge from Gloucester Quays Outlet centre. The walk from the bus station to the docks will take about 20 minutes but could be longer if you want me to give a short guided tour of Gloucester first.
Thursday 25th March - Take the bus to Cheltenham where you will be free to wander. I would recommend a visit to the Old Brewery Quarter where there are some micro breweries and eating establishments.
Friday 26th March - Free day to do as you wish
Saturday 27th March - Depart
Cost - £162 per unit.
Expressions of interest to Paul Ginger please. Once he has confirmed your attendance he will require a £50 non refundable deposit.

Site 1 - Great Yorkshire Showground, Harrogate, North Yorkshire
1st site - Harrogate Caravan Park - 15th to 20th April
https://www.harrogatecaravanpark.co.uk/
This is a pretty site located on the south side of Harrogate, North Yorkshire, overlooking the beautiful Crimple Valley. It is based on the Great Yorkshire Showground next to Fodder - Great Yorkshire Food Hall and just a few minutes away from the nearest bus stop. It is a great site for exploring Harrogate and beyond.
There is no place to meet up - we will just have to hope for good weather!
I am still waiting for the rally rates for 2026, however the rally rates for 2025 were £26 (weekdays) and £34 (Friday/Saturday nights) - based on over 20 units. This includes hardstanding pitches with electric (grass pitches are not available in April) - and a mixture of awning and non awning pitches. I expect the pitch costs will be slightly higher than the 2025 rates.
Gazebos are not allowed; however, I have enquired about Day rooms - these will not be a problem as long as they are pitched next to the van and we have the 6-metre gap between the next van (they will need to be on an awning pitch).
The approximate cost for the 5 nights will be £140 (may change once 2026 rates are known).
I have asked for 40 pitches at this site.

Site 2 - The Mile Pocklington
The Caravan Park is ideally situated at the foot of the stunning Yorkshire Wolds, soon to be classified as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, enabling access to wonderful walk-routes. The picturesque market town of Pocklington is a 15-minute walk and many of the pubs, shop and cafes are dog friendly.
This campsite has booked the whole site out for us. The site is mixed hardstanding and grass - well draining land so there are rarely any issues. All pitches have electric and water is shared. Officially there are 30 pitches, but they have had 40 units on site previously - when needs must - (splitters are used as 16 amp) - some pitches are large so can accommodate 2 units (which is fine for our rally). The rally costs are: -
£20 per unit per night with EHU & Wi-Fi (much reduced cost on normal pitch fees)
£5 per night per awning/ gazebo (I am checking this out for the day rooms)
£2 per dog per night (max 2 dogs)
So the costs for the 5 nights will vary - minimum £100 (if no awning etc and no dogs) - maximum £145 (if awning and 2 dogs).
Site 3 - Vale of Pickering Caravan Park Carr House Farm, Allerston, Pickering
3rd site - Vale of Pickering Caravan Park - 25th to 30th April
https://www.valeofpickering.co.uk/
This is a 5-star, family-run holiday park set in the beautiful North Yorkshire countryside. Located on Carr House Farm (working farm) in Allerston, the award-winning park offers spacious pitches, modern facilities, and a relaxed atmosphere perfect for families, couples, and explorers alike (many walks in the area). Situated on the outskirts of the breathtaking North York Moors National Park, the location offers the perfect gateway to explore the stunning landscape and abundant wildlife that this region has to offer.
There is a cafe on site - breakfasts & lunches. There is the possibility of a fish & chip van. There is a pub and a bus stop 1 and a ¼ miles from the site.
There is no room on-site to meet up in.
Costs are £146.25 for the 5 nights - including hardstanding, electric, awnings/gazebos/day rooms and up to 3 dogs.
I have reserved 40 pitches at this site.
